Short Description
The Achievable Concepts All Terrain Wheelchair is an attendant propelled rigid aluminium frame specialised wheelchair that is designed to enable access to environments where the standard manual wheelchair cannot go. The wide wheels and rugged frame distribute weight across the dirt or sand surface so that the ride is smoother and the wheelchair does not 'dig in'. There is an adult and paediatric model available.

All Terrain: Rugged construction. Fully collapsible ( No tools required ) and quick and easy to assemble. Highly manoeuvrable ( Turns 360 degrees on the spot ) and good stability.
FRAME
Corrosion resistant rigid aluminium frame.
SEAT
Slung style seat, continuous with backrest, it is contoured (not flat) to accommodate buttocks and thighs.
UPHOLSTERY
Lightweight mesh allows water to drain through ( Enabling occupant to dry while seated )
BACKREST
Slung style, mesh backrest to enable water to drain and ventilation. Continuous with seat. No adjustability.
Push brace with horizontal bar for attendant propulsion.
ARMRESTS
Full length aluminium armrests.
LEGREST
Removable leg-rest
Single leg-rest unit- metal construction incorporated in footrest design
FOOTPLATES
Removable, one piece aluminium platform.
WHEELS
Four wheel, microcellular polyurethane (MCP) puncture resistant tyres (no castors). Single axle position. Large balloon tyres suit loose sand and give a smooth ride over rough surfaces.
