Short Description
A lightweight folding wheelchair custom made to suit individual needs and dimensions. This model has smaller front wheels and a frame which is 100mm shorter in length, resulting in a wheelchair that is more compact and lighter in weight than the standard day wheelchair.

FRAME: High tensile steel, T.I.G welded with epoxy baked finish. Many frame colours are available with black as standard. Single cross and linkage folding mechanism. A reinforced frame is available for very heavy people. An optional feature is for the two front sides of the frame to converge slightly, (this makes the chair more compact and manoeuvrable in smaller spaces, but is not suitable for people who stand to transfer out of the chair). The angle of the seat and backrest can be fixed as specified.
UPHOLSTERY: Black or navy cordura nylon cloth reinforced with 50mm webbing. 10mm closed cell foream padding in the back. Optionally reinforced cloth sides are available to protect clothing from wheels.
ARMRESTS: Optional removable padded desk length armrests. Full length armrests and infil panels can be specified.
LEGRESTS: Fixed. Legstrap (50mm) with velcro closure.
FOOTPLATES: Height adjustable with spanner. Footrest can be single or two piece, tubular or aluminium plate. Footplate(s) can be fixed or lift up or fully removable. Main support frame for footplate is fixed, 50mm legstrap, with velcro closure.
WHEELS: Aluminium hubs and rims. Sealed bearings, chrome moly steel axles. Mountings adjustable for depth, height, balance and camber. Grey non marking tyres. Quick release hubs.
CASTORS: Tubular steel fork with sealed bearings. Optional adjustable angle castor mountings.
BRAKES: Optional high or low mounted toggle brakes. Optional long handle.
OPTIONS: One piece removable push handle, removable anit tip bars with rollers, seatbelt, tray sockets and removable tray, removable headrest, toe straps and heel loops, 50mm longer frame, rear tilt bar, clear polycarbonate spoke covers, coloured wheel rims, no push handles/brakes, dual layer foam cushion.
