Short Description
A manual wheelchair with a folding chrome plated steel frame. It is attendant propelled or self propelled using a rear wheel drive, front wheel drive, one arm drive, or foot propelled with a low seat height (Hemi Model). It is suitable for adults and large children. The wheelchair is available in five seat widths and has a single axle position. An amputee bracket is available and there is a choice of armrests. A range of accessories is available. Can be customised.

FRAME: Standard: Folding frame. Chrome plated steel. Double cross brace.
Options: 50mm lower frame to enable the wheelchair to be foot propelled (Hemi Model).

UPHOLSTERY: Standard: Vinyl with an insert of foam and double reinforced stitching.

COLOURS: Standard: Blue upholstery.

SEAT: Standard: Slung style. Available in five seat widths including a junior size (355mm).
Options: 50mm cushion, flotation cushion, removable curved and padded, removable flat and padded, reinforced seat, dropped seat, lambswool cover.

BACKREST: Standard: Slung style. Backrest frame is bent to offer a little low back support. Peg style push handles. Options: Removable back, reinforced, cushion, lambswool cover.

HEADREST: Options: Headrest extension, headrest bolster.

ARMRESTS: Options: Removable, padded full length armrests. Clothing guards.
Options: Adjustable height armrests, desk length, low profile (50mm lower), high profile (50mm higher), lambswool cover.

LEGRESTS: Standard: Swing away and removable. Length adjustable. The front wheel drive model has fixed legrests.
Options: Elevating legrests with calf pads, adjustable stump supports, calf strap.

FOOTPLATES: Standard: Two piece, lift up metal footplates.
Options: Heel loops, vinyl covers.

WHEELS: Standard: Metal spoked wheel with pneumatic tyres. Steel rim. Single axle position.
Options: Solid puncture resistant tyre, moulded nylon rim, quick release wheels, spoke guards, amputee bracket, double push rim one arm drive kit, attendant propelled kit, 510 mm rear wheels (for lower seat height) - pneumatic or puncture resistant, 305mm attendant propelled rear wheels.

CASTORS: Standard: Solid spoked castors.

BRAKES: Standard: Toggle style operated by a lever with a knob grip. Pull to lock.

ONE ARM DRIVE: The type of one arm drive mechanism which is available with this wheelchair is called a double push rim. The driving wheels are linked so that either wheel or both can be controlled from a dual set of push rims which are positioned on one wheel only. One push rim has a slightly smaller diameter than the other and is positioned on the outside of the larger push rim. When one push rim is moved independently of the other, only one wheel is driven and will cause the wheelchair to turn. (The outer push rim controls the wheel on the opposite side. The inner push rim controls the wheel on the same side). When both push rims are moved together, both large wheels are driven simultaneously and the wheelchair will move forward.

CUSTOMISED FEATURES: Reinforcement of the frame is available on the 510mm (20") and 560mm (22") seat width models, at additional cost, to meet higher load capacities.

MAINTENANCE: All wheelchairs require regular maintenance. Refer to User Manual for specific details.

WARRANTY: Three year warranty on frame.
