Pelican Chair Belt for Sliders

Short Description
Belt designed to prevent a person from sliding off a chair. It consists of a waist belt and two padded foam straps that attach around the thighs. A video demonstrating this product is available.

MATERIALS: Made from 50mm width webbing, with padded foam leg pieces and adjustable buckles for closure.

METHOD OF USE: The belt is fitted around the chair and buckles together at the person's side. The two padded leg straps are then positioned under the legs and buckled up. When fitting the leg straps, they should be passed between the legs, under and up the outside of the leg. After adjusting the buckles, the surplus webbing will then be on the outside of the leg.

SAFETY: Monitoring of the person is recommended so that if the straps are applying pressure or causing discomfort, the belt can be repositioned.

LAUNDERING: The belt and straps can be hand or machine washed. The manufacturer recommends the buckles be done up before machine washing. The padding can either be removed and washed separately or left in position on the leg strap.
