Short Description
This groin strap is designed to be used in conjunction with a lap belt to help prevent a person sliding off a chair. It is adjustable to various seat depths at both front and back of strap, so is suitable for most sizes of people.

MATERIALS: Thin woven nylon/dacron.
METHOD OF USE: The groin strap is placed on the chair with velcro to the front and seamless side up. The belt should also be secured to the back of the chair at the most appropriate slot to suit the chair and user. (The Lap belt should also be put in place.) The person sits down onto the groin strap, which is then passed between their legs and fastened around the lap belt with velcro tabs to secure.
OPTIONS: A Pelican Lap Belt is available and can be used with the groin strap.
COMMENTS: Usually only suitable when the user is wearing trousers or shorts.
LAUNDERING: If the groin strap needs washing it can be dried with a towel to remove surplus water and can be air dried.
