Short Description
A range of fully adjustable mobile chairs. Features include gas assisted tilt in space, backrest recline, adjustable armrest height and adjustable footplate angle. Upholstery consists of plastic straps which aim to provide pressure reduction. Available in two models. A range of options and accessories are available.
Caution
All pressure reduction products must be monitored to prevent 'bottoming out'. This occurs when the user's weight bears down so hard on the product material that it is flattened and the bony parts are pressed against the surface below the cushion or mattress. Where bottoming out occurs even with correct use, a different product may need to be considered.
More Details
SEAT: Seating consists of pressure relieving memory PVC straps in the seat and back and zippered padded upholstery. Each strap conforms individually to the user`s body shape, suspending the weight across multiple points. The strapping system also reduces heat and moisture build up.
A range of foam postural supports and padding are available. Fully adjustable via hook and loop tape or adjustable buckles.
The chairs use a directional wheel system which facilitates manoeuvring the chair laterally and around corners and has a choice of alternate wheels. Wheels can be individually locked via a foot operated system located above the rear castors and on the front castors.
FEATURES: The frame is stainless steel. The armrests are height adjustable, swing away and removable. A range of footplates and legrests are available, including height and angle adjustable, one or two-piece, flip up and removable.
Features 180 degrees of backrest recline and/or 45 degrees of tilt in space. The hydraulic gas lifts for the backrest recline and tilt in space are adjusted via a lever located on the back of the chair.

The Broda Elite 785 tilt and recline chair has swing away or lift off armrests, a central braking system and is designed to accommodate involuntary movements.
The Broda midline full recliner has an adjustable seat height.
