Short Description
A mobile flotation seating system for high dependency clients. It has a manoeuvrable transit base which is usable indoors. The chair has a multi positional reclining backrest and an adjustable legrest. When the chair is fully reclined and the legrest is fully raised it allows the user to be in a horizontal position. The seat angle is fixed. The chair has swing away head wings and an adjustable headrest cushion. All covers are removable for ease of cleaning.

UPHOLSTERY: Standard: Polysoft upholstery is standard which is water resistant. Polysoft has a fire retardant and anti bacterial polyurethane coating on a two way stretch base. The fabric is breathable, elastic and resistant to temperature changes which increases user comfort.
Options: Vinyl cover.
COLOURS: Steel Blue, Ocean, Mulberry. Also Paradino Blue at additional cost.
SEAT: High density foam base with a gel filled section over the top. Above the gel filled section is with convoluted foam and a polysoft cover.
BACKREST: Standard: The backrest has medium density foam and is inlaid with two air sacks and has a polysoft cover. The air sacks are pre set at a level which will suit most users, but they can be adjusted by the supplier if required. The backrest can recline via a manual mechanism.
Options: Elevated push handle. Backrest extension of 200mm for taller users.
HEADREST: Options: Extended head wing which gives greater support.
ARMRESTS: Standard: These are in a fixed position.
Options: Extended side arm further toward the rear of the chair - for use with smaller clients and children. Removable armrest. Two position armrest where the armrest locks at 90 degrees or 23 degrees off vertical to allow for larger users or users with muscle contractures.
LEGRESTS: Standard: There is a legrest as standard with the chair which can be adjusted manually as needed.
Options: Closed in legrest gap between the seat and the legrest. Deluxe adjustable legrest with footrest.
FOOTRESTS: Options: Swing away footrest which discourages forward sliding and foot drop.
CASTORS: Standard: Front castors are 100mm precision bearing with directional lock. Rear castors are 100mm precision bearing with total braking.
Options: Stainless steel base for use in areas of potential corrosion.
