Life Care Manual Recliner

Short Description
A manual recliner lounge chair which is on hospital grade castors. The castors allow the user to be relocated while sitting in the chair. A slide away footrest is located under chair to support the feet when moving. A push handle is located behind the backrest for pushing/steering. A flick lever is located on the right side and a handle lever is located on the left. Either control will operate the recline function. The backrest has wings to provide additional head support when resting. The armrests are low to facilitate sling placement for hoist transfers. Available in a range of fabrics. Can be customised.

MATERIALS: Standard: Firm foam padding which is water resistant, hypoallergenic and flame retardant. Tray has a laminated top which is heat resistant and scratch resistant.

UPHOLSTERY: Available in a Zircon fabric which is water resistant and comes in a range of colours and patterns. Alternatively the chair can be upholstered in any fabric.

MECHANISM: Wynpro Recliner Mechanism.

OPERATION: Footrest will always elevate before the backrest reclines.

METHOD OF USE: 1. To Extend Footrest
Pull lever handle or flick lever on the side of the chair. The lever will activate the mechanism and extend the footrest.

2. To Recline
With the footrest extended, lean back. The back is counterbalanced requiring only minimal body pressure to move smoothly to your desired recline position.

3. To Close
The recline position returns to the upright position by sitting up.

4. To Return Footrest
Move your body weight forward and press down with your legs until the footrest returns to the closed position. At this position it will be locked closed.

CUSTOMISED FEATURES: Able to customise the amount of padding in the seat and backrest which will alter the seat height from floor and the seat depth. Also able to customise the amount of padding in the armrests. Unable to alter the chair frame.

COMMENTS: . The seat is designed to be flat to assist users to reposition easily and facilitate standing up.

WARRANTY: Five year warranty on the recliner mechanism.
