Short Description
A foam mattress or overlay which is built up with slow recovery foam cushions and sheets and supported with brackets to provide a symmetrical sleeping position. The position of the cushions can be changed to facilitate different sleeping positions (prone, supine or side lying). Available in three sizes.

More Details
MATERIALS: Slow recovery foam mattress, felt sheet.
COVER: Elasticised sheet that has two way stretch.
ASSEMBLY: A velcro/felt sheet which has a grid pattern marked on it is attached to the bed.
The support shape is built up using the special lowzone cushions and brackets which attach with hook tape to the felt. The layout can be recorded as an assessment chart or felt pen can be used to mark out the velcro.
A second sheet made of slow recovery foam then lays over the brackets, covering the mattress. An elasticised sheet is then placed over the whole assembly.
The user is then positioned so that they are symmetrical as possible. Cushions and brackets can be easily removed and relocated to asist transfers and for repositioning the user's body for sleeping in prone(on stomach), supine(on back) or side lying.
CLEANING: Cover can be wiped clean
