Short Description
A paediatric mobile cot available in fixed height, mechanically adjustable and electrically adjustable models. It has drop down side rails with three height adjustments and removable end panels. It also features a Trendelenberg tilt position. Other features include four lockable castors and built in push handle with corner buffer.

FRAME:
Constructed from steel with a powder coated finish.
HEADBOARD / FOOTBOARD:
Removable with the option of vertical bar design panel or full poly carbonate design panel.
SIDE RAILS:
Adjustable in three height positions which all drop down to the level of the
mattress and under the cot, allowing for closer contact. It features a side rail
safety catch system requiring dual action for release.
ADJUSTMENT:
Features fixed height, or variable height (mechanical or electric). Manual
option for height adjustability are operated by a winding handle at the foot end of
the cot and is accessible via foot pedal operation on right side of the cot.
Electrical option for height adjustability is accessible via a small panel also at
the foot end. This panel can be pulled out to operate and when not in use can be
pushed back in to conceal its function. It offers back raise, knee break and
reverse Trendelenberg tilt.
CASTORS:
150mm diameter castors with central locking and steer controls at either end.
HANDLE:
Built in with side corner buffers.
POWER:
The electric model features battery back up so the unit only requires to be
plugged in at intervals for recharging.

Caution
Bed rails are used to try and protect the bed occupant from injury. Careful consideration needs to be taken when choosing a bed rail or stick. They may increase the risk of injury to the occupant in several ways. Entrapment of limbs or body parts may occur within the rails, or between the rails and the bed. This may occur to those having a seizure, or rolling over in bed, or if unstable while transferring out of bed.
