Short Description
A soft resilient mattress overlay with transverse quilting. Designed to improve comfort and reduce the risk of pressure areas for a person in bed.

MATERIALS: Hollow silicone coated polyester fibre filling. Pale blue cotton polyester cover on one side, waterproof polyurethane on the other side. Elastic retention straps on each corner.
FEATURES: The silicone coating on the inner fibres acts as a lubricant to reduce friction and shear forces on the person’s skin and prevents fibres from absorbing urine and perspiration.
Insulates against hot or cold.
Breathable (reduces heat build up).
Radio translucent (where xrays of the person are required).
Made from hypoallergenic materials.
Low maintenance.
Offers moderate pressure relief only.
METHOD OF USE: Place on top of existing mattress, using retention straps to secure it. Can be used with cotton side up for maximum comfort or with polyurethane side up for waterproofing (eg. people who are incontinent).
CLEANING: May be laundered in an institutional system and dried in a commercial dryer.
