Short Description
A mattress consisting of fire retardant foam. The upper surface is scored to produce internal air channels which help reduce the build up of heat and moisture. The mattress provides a high contact area and effective distribution of user weight which results in lower interface pressures against the skin. Suitable for users at low to medium risk of developing pressure sores. Available in six sizes (acute single, single, king single, double, queen and king).

STRUCTURE: . The upper layer of foam is scored to produce internal air channels which help reduce the build up of heat and moisture.
. The zones of support are varied according to the anatomical distribution of body mass to create a high degree of conformity, especially near bony prominences. Reduces potential for localised high pressures.
. High contact area and effective distribution of user weight results in lower interface pressures against the skin.
. Reinforced side walls provide extra protection when handling.
COVER: Dartex cover which has two way stretch, is vapour permeable and fluid resistant.
POINTS TO CONSIDER: Suitable for radiographic use.
COMMENTS: . Compatible with an electric blanket and head raise with an adjustable bed.
. Mattress ends are reversible which extends the product life.
SAFETY: Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) tested - does not impede emergency procedures.
CLEANING: Use hot soapy water to clean. Mild chlorine based antibacterial cleaners can also be used. Avoid Phenol based cleaning products. Mattress cover can be removed for cleaning - hand wash or gentle machine wash.
