Short Description
An alternating air mattress overlay system which consists of a mattress and an electrically operated pump. The pump unit has LED indicators which details the conditions of the pressure level. The mattress overlay has a total of 17 air cells, nine of which have laser holes for low air loss. Three cells located under the pillow are non alternating. The removable nylon cover provides water resistant protection while still allowing air ventilation. The overlay has a CPR release valve. Available in a single size.

MATERIALS: Cover: combination of nylon/P.U. and nylon/polyester cotton.
Air Cells: nylon laminated with PVC/P.U.
FEATURES: . Quick release CPC connectors for air hoses.
. Spring loaded reinforced air hoses which prevents kinking and bending. Covered in vinyl for protection from dust and dirt.
. Low air loss lasered air cells.
. Carry bag is provided standard.
COVER: Water resistant cover which still allows air ventilation and fully encases the overlay air cells. Removable via a zipper which extends all around the cover. Non shearing and has extra quilting for comfort. A pair of feet are printed on the cover to assist with overlay orientation.
COMPONENTS: There are 17 air cells which are blue in colour and are of a non shearing style:
- 2 no air loss, non alternating for under the pillow (to minimise air circulation around the face)
- 1 with air loss, non alternating for under the pillow
- 8 low air loss and alternating with micro lasered holes for under the trunk
- 6 no air loss and alternating for under the legs and feet.
COMMENTS: . Suitable for bed sore treatment Stage II and III.
. Pump is fixed via a two piece arm style stand which attaches to the bed.
SAFETY: . CPR air release valve which is designed for quick release of air from the cells when there is an urgent need to perform CPR on the user (pull the yellow tag).
. The pump unit has LED indicators which details the conditions of the pressure level (ie. normal pressure or low pressure).
