To be eligible for this service, persons must be registered with the CES and be either:-
. Unemployed for 12 months or longer
. Be under 21
. Be case managed or
. Have a disability
There are numerous Skillshare branches in Sydney but many of these will either amalgamate or close when government funding ceases and this service will become privately operated, by tendering for case management.
Services include: job search facilities (access to phone, fax, computer) assistance with resume and interview preparation, and various short term courses (eg office and computer skills, customer service, hospitality, general word processing. Services and courses vary with each branch and the demand for that area.
