Short Description
The Short Statured People of Australia (S.S.P.A.) is a non profit, self help organisation that provides support and information for people of short stature (dwarfs) who don't (or won't) reach the height of 150 cm. (4"11") at maturity, parents of short statured people, siblings of short statured people, and other interested members of the community.
More Details
The organisation's main aim is to assimilate people of short stature into society with the goal of equality of education and social status, and of employment opportunities.
The organisational structure consists of a National Council and State branches. These branches are based in four states - New South Wales (including the Australian Capital Territory), Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, as well as a regional group in North Queensland.
