JobAccess has been designed for employers, job seekers and employees with disability, their co-workers and employment service providers. A JobAccess Adviser can be contacted by phone or online for confidential advice.
JobAccess can provide support as they engage with:
- employers who may or may not currently employ people with disability
- job seekers and employees with disability looking for work, or looking for some support or assistance with their work.
Government services and support
The Australian Government funds a range of employment and employment related services and support, including training and apprenticeships, for people with disability. Help is available at every stage of the employment process, from preparing to look for work, searching for a job and, if needed, ongoing support once in a job.
Workplace Modifications Scheme
The applicant may qualify for free workplace assessment and modification under the Workplace Modifications Scheme. Consult the JobAccess Adviser.
