Short Description
Allowah Babies Hospital hold a monthly feeding clinic staffed by a
specialist therapy and nursing team to provide advice on problems
associated with feeding children with disabilities.
Provide service for children from 0 -16 years.
Short/long term respite care available.

. Swallowing difficulties
. Transitional feeding eg. Tube to oral or oral to gastrostomy
. Feeding behaviour problems
. Reflux
. Equipment and positioning
. Recipes and diets for low weight children.
. Cranio facial feeding problems eg cleft palate
Medical practitioner and therapist referrals welcome for feeding assessment and advice. Phone for an appointment.
A fee for service would be involved for clients not covered by a private
health fund.
