Short Description
The Brooks Alarm Isolator is a wall mounted switch used to silence alarms which are activated in a non dangerous situation. It can be used on Brooks 240VAC interconnected range of smoke / heat alarms.

Smoke Alarms are designed to detect smoke particles in the air however other airborne particles ie steam, cooking fumes, dust, can also activate a smoke alarm.
When activated, the Alarm Isolator removes, for approx 5 minutes, both primary and secondary supplies to the smoke / heat alarms. During this 5 minute period, the occupant can remove the source of the nuisance alarm and the smoke / heat alarm will reset. The Alarm isolator automatically resets.

The Alarm Isolator is mounted on a single gang switch plate making it easy to mount onto standard mounting bracket or mounting block. It can be mounted at a height that is suitable for the user.
