Short Description
A self contained keyless access system using electronic and radio frequency technology to automatically unlock a door. It consists of a transponder (card or key ring fob), an antenna unit (mounted externally) and a reader (mounted inside a building).

. When the transponder is flashed in front of the antenna, the data from the transponder is decoded by the reader which validates whether the transponder has approval to enter that location.
. The system allows up to 400 cards or tags and is suitable for homes, offices, hospitals, schools, retirement villages and hotels.
. A network system can be created, providing access to multiple locations with a single transponder.
. 24 hour hotline for immediate replacement of a lost transponder.
. The system can also:
- connect to a video intercom system
- connect to a hard wired smoke alarm and automatically release a door catch when the alarm is activated
- utilise existing dead latches


Options
Battery backup facility in case of power failure. The sealed lead acid battery allows up to 20 hours backup. Alternatively entry is accessible via a traditional key.

Installation
. The door entry system can be fitted to either a new or existing door and is ideally suited to work on deadlatches. The system requires an electric door strike and a power point. It can be installed by a home handyman or one of the supplier's qualified technicians.
. It connects directly to a non dedicated host computer. Programming is done by the supplier's technicians or distributors.
