Short Description
A range of electromechanical swing door operators for internal and external doors. Suits a range of commercial and domestic installations and will operate frameless glass, aluminium framed, wooden or composite doors. Available with a range of adjustable parameters and features.

More Details
. Fully motorised
. Standard arm for push function. Sliding arm for pull function.
. Battery backup
. Product designed for 500,000 openings.
. Adjustable opening / closing times can be set from 1-15 minutes.
. Quiet operation

OPERATION:
. AUTOMATIC: The door is opened by a pulse and closes automatically after the lapse of a preset interval, eg. when everone has passed through the door.
. MANUAL OPENING: Slight pressure applied to the door will activate the automatic opening function, after which it closed automatically.
. OPEN: The door is held open all the time.

APPLICATIONS:
. For light to medium weight quality internal, entrance and final exit doors (fitted on the internal side of the door). Allows unimpeded entry and exit to all types of commercial and domestic buildings.

PROGRAMMING:
. The functions of the Operator are programmed using the push buttons mounted on the control unit face. Functions include opening and closing speed, lock up force and the load required by the door. Alternatively the 28 control points can be programmed using a hand held infrared handset.

SAFETY:
. To prevent overloading of the internal mechanism the Operator is fitted with a safety clutch which prevents damage should the door be opened or closed by force.

For heavy traffic applications. Variety of applications due to comprehensive programming options. Selection of hold open times, opening speed, force and angle. Internal battery enables door operation during mains power failure.


Options
A remote control can electrically unlock and open a door (powered by the Automatic Swing Door Operator).
The client will require a 240V GPO near the head of the door and an Electric Strike fitted to the door frame. A push button can also be installed on the inside.

Compliance with relevant Standards is indicated by written certification that a product has been tested and assessed as compliant with specific Standards. Purchasers are advised to check with the supplier or manufacturer of this item as to its compliance with relevant Standard(s).

For public buildings and any facility which must comply with AS1428.1.
The Australian standard AS1428.1 - "Design for access and mobility, Part 1: General requirements for access - New building work" includes requirements for door closers to ensure that the door is easy to open manually against the force of the door closer.(Clause 11.1.1(c)) In the case of doors which are powered in their closing AND opening these requirements should automatically be fulfilled.

AS1428.1 includes requirements to ensure that the manual controls on automatic doors are accessible: Clause 11.1.2 (e)
"Manual controls to power-operated doors shall be positioned above a level surface not closer than 1000mm from the arc of a hinged door or clear of a sliding door in the open position, and the door shall remain open for a sufficient period to enable a person with impaired mobility to pass safely through the doorway."
