A tactile ground surface indicator made from rubber in a tile form that can be applied to a wide range of existing indoor and outdoor ground surfaces including concrete.

Warning - with raised disks or domes
Directional - with raised lines or ridges
. Each tile has rounded corners.
. Available in 13 natural, fade and UV resistant colours
. Suitable for fixing to concrete, timber (wooden), paving, bitumen surfaces
Installation
These tiles must be installed professionally and used only as tactile ground surface indicators. Installation must be in accordance with requirements specified in AS1428.4.
The tiles are adhered to cleaned and prepared ground surface or flooring.
Standards
For some types of equipment, specific Australian Standard(s) are applicable to the materials used in, the manufacturing processes applied to and the installation of products. Compliance with relevant Standards is indicated by written certification that a product has been tested and assessed as compliant with specified Australian Standards. Purchasers are advised to check with the supplier or manufacturer of this item as to its compliance with relevant Australian Standard(s).
Tactile ground surface indicators (TGSI) should comply with the current edition of the Australian Standard AS1428.4 - Design for access and mobility Part 4: Tactile Indicators. This standard provides specifications on the form of TGSI and on their installation. Refer to this standard to determine the luminance contrast required between the TGSI and the surrounding ground surface and for installation details including width, length and location for a wide range of applications.
The Building Code of Australia specifies in what situations TGSI must be installed. To comply with the BCA the installation must be in full compliance with the relevant sections of the current AS1428.4.
