Short Description
Flotex has a fine dense non absorbent pile of tough nylon fibres,
integrated into a waterproof PVC base. It combines the benefits of hard, smooth floor finishes and carpets and is laid as sheeting or tiles. The domestic product is called Walkatex.

Approved by board of fire commissioners for institutions. (Super 115). Complies with Australian Standard AS 1530 (fire rating).
It is mothproof and rot proof.
APPLICATION: Suitable for use in hospitals, nursing homes, health centres, schools, restaurants, showrooms, etc.
Can be used in wettish areas such as the main area of the bathroom - water does not penetrate but can be wiped up. Not suitable for the actual shower area.
Options
Modular underlay. Does not affect wheelchair traffic.
Installation
Glue to any smooth surface. A wooden surface requires a masonite or fibro underlay.
