Short Description
Bench top hotplates, grillers and ovens are non fitted items which are
portable and plug into mains power. They are available in single
hotplates, dual hotplates with or without a griller unit and small bench top ovens with or without grill facility. Bench top, combined ovens and stoves are also available.

POINTS TO CONSIDER :
. Location in the kitchen and space available to place unit in safe manner.
. Intended use of the item will influence type purchased.
. Controls should be:
. Easily and safely reached
. Able to be pushed or turned with ease
. Of adequate size
. Clear to read and understand (indicator lights are useful)
. Doors should be easy to open with adequate handle which does not over-heat when unit is turned on.
. Doors should have clear visibility to oven, an oven light will assist with view
. Oven shelves and grill should have safety stops to prevent them from pulling out.
. Ease with which components can be removed for cleaning.
