Foot Mouse

Short Description
This mouse is operated by the feet and comprises a "slipper" used by one foot for moving the curser and a pad of buttons used by the other foot to activate all other mouse functions, including a scroll bar, all mouse clicks and a double click button. The "slipper" features an optical sensor and moves in the same way as a hand mouse. A mouse pad is provided with the Foot Mouse.

The mouse features:
* Programmable buttons for defining shortcuts and functions. There are up to 10 shortcuts and functions for each program.
* Small pop up and closable window on screen showing all button functions.
* Pre-set popular shortcuts of Windows.
* An elastic strap on the mouse slipper is fastened using hook and loop attachments, so as to suit any foot size.
* The scroll roller has a horizontal layout, so that the heel can rest on the floor, while the toes move the roller from side to side to scroll up and down on the screen.
* The Foot Mouse is compatible with Windows 98E, Me, 2000, XP, Vista and Macintosh OS x 10.3 and later.
* The mouse features brightly coloured buttons so that it can be easily seen under the desk and in the dark.
* The Foot Mouse can work independently or jointly with other mouses and input devices.


Method Of Use
The "slipper" part of the curser controller is worn and controlled by one foot and moves around on the mouse pad as a hand mouse does. The pedal part with 5 buttons and the scroll roller are controlled by the other foot.

Factors To Consider
Before using the Foot Mouse, the chair should be adjusted so that the feet can easily and comfortably reach the control pedal and "slipper".
Regular breaks and foot exercises to prevent ankle and leg stress are necessary.
