More Details
The system consists of two transmitters (38 x 38 x 12mm) and a receiver (132 x 66 x 15 mm). Each switch is connected to a small transmitter (about 25mm square) which may be mounted up to 4m away from the computer. The transmitter is powered by a cheap button cell that should last around a year. Each has a 3.5mm jack socket, for switch connection.

The receiver unit connects to the computer and takes power from the computer, requiring no other power source.

Compatibility
Four types of connection are currently offered:
1. Serial connector
2. USB connector
3. Delta Talker (a specially wired version of the plug to work with a Delta Talker)
4. All purpose 3.5mm jack plugs - these will plug into any switch socket, including toys etc. The power is provided by rechargeable batteries in the receiver. The Radio Switch Adaptor works with the Sensory Software, for example, The Grid.

Interference
Each set of radio switches has a unique code (printed on the receiver), so several people can be using radio switches in the same room without interference. They are also resistant to interference from other radio emitters such as mobile phones and computers.
