Short Description
The radio Linked Call Buzzer features a receiver plugged into a power supply, and a transmitter used to attract the attention of a carer in another part of the house. When the button on the transmitter is pressed, or a switch plugged into the side of the transmitter is pressed, the buzzer sounds on the receiver. Accessible to switch users.

More Details
The receiver must be plugged into the supply to operate, but may be moved from room to room to suit the needs of the carer.
The receiver has two modes of operation.
1. Insert - the buzzer will sound only while the call switch is pressed.
2. Latch - the buzzer will start when the call switch is pressed and keep buzzing until the carer resets it.
The transmitter is portable, about the size of a pack of cards. The transmitter uses radio signals when pressed to activate the buzzer on the receiver, and operates over a distance of up to 100 metres.

Method Of Use
To activate the buzzer, two methods are available.
Push the "press" button on the transmitter unit, which is approximately 15mm x 9mm in size. A muted buzz sound is emitted from the transmitter when the button is pushed, indicating that the signal is sent. Press a switch plugged into the side of the transmitter unit. Switches are not included with the device.
The receiver unit must be plugged into a 240 volt power supply. The transmitter uses a 9 volt battery for operation.
