Short Description
An Australian built range of fully automatic and semi automatic Electro hydraulic vehicle hoists for the purpose of lifting a person in a wheelchair into a passenger van or bus. There are 3 basic models. The hoists can be installed internally (into a side or rear door) or externally (to a rear door). The platform folds vertically to minimise storage space. Can be customised.

More Details
. All models are fully automatic with hand held remote controls. They use 12 or 24 Volt DC and have manual back up pump (as required by Australian Standard).
. Side edge barriers are fitted with automatic front and rear safety flaps on the internal models. These also have self locking passenger support handles.

SAFETY:
. An approved wheelchair and occupant restraint system must be installed.
. Brakes must be applied whilst on the platform.
INSTALLATION:
. Modifications and installation must be done by an approved automotive engineer and approved by Motor Registry.
SERVICE:
. Tieman offers a mobile Australia-wide service including specialty vehicles equipped for roadside Tailgate repairs. On 24 hour call, 7 days a week. Repair Tieman, Braun or Ricon hoists.

. Located internally in rear or side of vehicle.
. One piece platform suitable for heavy usage vehicles. Will not cause rattles in the rear of the vehicle.
. TD 350L
. Internal wheelchair hoist with split mesh platform.
. Suitable for rear or side of vehicle installation.
. Split platform allows easy access through the rear of the vehicle when the hoist is stored. Suitable for private vehicles.
. TD 350A
. Externally mounted on rear of vehicle.
. Allows for more storage space inside the vehicle and maximises seating capacity.
. Folded platform adds 150mm to length of vehicle.

Factors To Consider
. If fitted internally, body and door modifications may be required and usually means the removal of the rear seat.
