Short Description
This organisation has a mission to obtain, train and maintain dogs in the community settings to assist people with physical disabilities achieve a greater level of independence.

.The dogs are trained from when they are puppies to assist people with disabilities do a number of tasks for which they would otherwise require assistance from a carer.
.The dogs are trained to eg pick up dropped items, open doors, turn on lights etc.
.ADFI provides the dogs free of charge to the recipients. The organisation is supported by donors and volunteers.
