In general, DVA requires assessments for specific equipment or home modifications to be carried out by the preferred health professional.
Client should initially discuss needs with the GP who can refer the client to an occupational therapist directly or through DVA. The OT will assess the clinical needs and make recommendations (if appropriate) to DVA
