Short Description
Entrance matting made from alternate treads of heavy duty carpet or rubber, and aluminium strips. The matting is custom made to suit the site. The treads are held securely within extruded aluminium retaining sections, which are lightly furrowed on the exposed surface to produce a slip-resistant surface.

The mats can be surface mounted or recessed. If surface mounted, aluminium tapered ramps are installed at the perimeters to prevent tripping and allow better wheelchair access.
Recessed mats require an internal mat-well depth of 10, 16 or 22 mm.
Duramat can be used in external areas and in areas with heavier traffic. It is also available with vinyl inserts.
Ultramat - a variety of colours of carpet are available.
Anodising of the aluminium in selected colours can be arranged. Price is extra on application.

DURAMAT - rubber or vinyl between aluminium strips
ULTRAMAT - carpet between aluminium strips
DURAGRIT - hard wearing slip resistant tread insert for internal and external environments, where adjacent floor surfaces may be hazardous. Dual treads (2 x 50mm wide increments) can be alternately set into concrete or paving tiles across sloping ramps and walk-ways.
COCAMAT - coir inserts replace the rubber or carpet inserts of other models and work as a door mat for cleaning shoes prior to entry. The coir is raised 10mm above the aluminium treads.

Maintenance
* Vacuum clean matting regularly and if required, spot clean matting inserts with dry shampoo or steam clean.
* Rubber and vinyl inserts can be restored by wiping over with a damp mop, using a multi-purpose detergent. For abrasive grit, the best method is a hot water hose or stiff brush. Do NOT use mops.
* Replacement of inserts is a simple job and is carried out in situ.
* Restore lustre to ribbed aluminium sections by lightly rubbing over with abrasive steel wool.
