Short Description
This specially designed interface allows the user to access both the shutter and zoom functions of the camera with the same switch. Alternatively, two switches are used, one for each function. The interface can be supplied with Pentax Optio-S10, Optio-S12 and Optio- A40 cameras.

More Details
The camera can be attached, with suitable mounting hardware, to the front of the user's wheelchair.
A suitable switch can be plugged into the interface and positioned to suit the user.
Users with adequate hand function may be able to use a camera mount with a 'Pan Tilt' handle. This enables a more accurate shot to be framed.
The switch and mounting hardware are purchased separately.

Camera Mount - without Pan/Tilt
A Universal Switch Mount can be fitted with a camera bracket and used to mount the camera on to a wheelchair, table, etc.
An optional Pan/Tilt adaptor can be added to the Universal Switch Mount for better control of camera positioning. This may suit those with enough hand function to move the pan/tilt handle. Code UMSF :CMPT




Method Of Use
Single Switch Operation
Press and hold switch to activate. A zoom signal will be sent every two seconds while the switch remains activated. The camera steps through three zoom settings that is, wide, medium and telephoto
Release the switch when the desired zoom setting is achieved
Press switch briefly to activate the shutter (switch press of a short duration)
The Camera Remote Control will beep each time an infrared signal is sent to the camera

Two Switch Operation
Press Switch One to activate the shutter
Press Switch Two and the camera will step to the next of three zoom settings that is, wide, medium and telephoto
