Selecting a desk may mean balancing individual and group needs particularly in a classroom setting. The following headings provide a guide to criteria that can be used to assist in the evaluation and selection
process.
Adjustability
Most desks can be adjusted in height either by adjusting the legs or by adjusting the tray or table height. Some desks may offer both adjustments. Additionally some products offer angle adjustment of the tray / table top.
Cut-out section for wheelchair.
Some users may wish to have a cut-out section that accommodates their wheelchair, enabling close proximity to their work area particularly if the armrests are removed. If removal of the armrests is not possible
you will need to ensure that the desk height can be adjusted high enough to clear the armrests.
