Short Description
A tilt switch which activates an alarm to notify the carer if the person has fallen or requires assistance. The tilt switch is useful for people who are unable to operate an existing alarm. The tilt switch has a timer delay built into it, which can be up to twenty seconds before the radio signal is activated.
More Details
. The built-in delay allows the wearer to bend over for short periods
without activating the alarm. While the delay timer is operating, a
buzzer sound indicates to the wearer that the alarm has been initiated and they have twenty seconds before the alarm signal is sent out to summon help. The delay timer is immediately cancelled if the person wearing the unit stands upright.
. Alarm range 30 metres or 900 metres
. Long range unit has a fixed time delay of 24 seconds.
. The alarm unit can be modified to send more than one signal indicating different needs or wants.
