Item sourced from ILC ACT database
Short Description
The nurse call switch interface enables a person to operate a nurse call system using alternative switches. It is a general purpose adaptor which allows a range of switches to be used with older style call systems.
More Details
. The interface will operate up to 6 independent lamp/annunciators, and a buzzer circuit.
. A built in buzzer can also be fitted, thus the interface can be used as stand alone device.
. There is an intention delay adjustment, to assist in the avoidance of false alarms.
. Once activated, the interface turns on the annunciator lamps and the
buzzer is sounded for approximately three seconds. The lamps remain on, and the buzzer sounds at one minute intervals until the reset button is pressed.
Installation
Needs to be fitted with a plug compatible with the call system. This can be done by a hospital electrician or call system supplier.
