Invisa-Beam Bed Monitor

Short Description
The bed monitor that is activated when a person makes a sideways movement to leave the bed. The chair monitor detects movement from sitting to standing or sliding off the chair. One or two infrared sensors are positioned around the perimeter of the bed or chair. A wireless alarm unit is positioned in another room or the system can be integrated with an existing 'nurse call system'.

More Details
. The bed monitor can be clamped to the head of the bed. If the bed does not have a bed head, the supplier can provide a post at the head of the bed for attachment of the monitor.

. Only one bed monitor is required if the person exits from one side of the bed only. Two interconnected monitors are required if the person can exit from both sides of the bed.

. The beam is the same length as the bed, and cannot be activated by a person walking past the end of the bed.

. The alarm will not sound if the occupant reaches upward or stands up on the bed.

. Suitable for hospital, nursing home or domestic use. It is used in conjunction with a standard 'nurse call' system in the hospital or nursing home, or operates as a remote radio controlled alarm in the domestic situation.
