Short Description
The purpose of the Mobility Parking Scheme, MPS, is to enable permit holders to park in car parking spaces designated for people with disabilities by displaying a MPS Permit.

You are eligible if you
a. are unable to walk more than 100metres
b. require a wheelchair
c. have lost one or both legs
d. have chronic and seriously debilitating respiratory, cardiac or arthritic conditions
e. require walking aids
f. are blind
Application forms are available from the ACT Government Shopfronts at Civic, Belconnen, Woden and Tuggeranong or from the Dickson Motor Registry.
Your doctor is required to fill out one section of the form. The form is available on the website www.rego.act.gov.au. Go to Parking, then Special Parking Permits then Mobility Difficulty.
The permit is free of charge.
The permit can be used in any vehicle.
