Short Description
Quiklok clamp is a solid metal anchorage between the wheelchair frame and the floor of the vehicle, which does not require straps or webbing.

. The clamp has 3 different systems, 2 using floor rails and attachment, the other using a screw on base plate. The metal attachment then clamps on directly to the wheelchair frame.

Licence and Insurance Requirements
In the ACT the installation of restraint systems into vehicles must be inspected by an Engineer certified by Road User Services (in NSW an RTA certified Engineer). It is advised that any proposed vehicle modifications/installations are discussed with the Technical Unit at Road User Services on 13 22 81 and the vehicle insurance company is contacted to discuss whether the alterations will affect the insurance cover.
Training must be provided by the supplier in the use of the restraint system. An instruction book must be provided as well as written instructions displayed in the vehicle into which the system has been fitted.
