Short Description
A modified Volkswagen vehicle which has been designed for a passenger with a disability. It includes rear vehicle entry via a fold down ramp for a manual or powered wheelchair. Occupant restraints are standard. Three, four or five seat layouts, plus space for a wheelchair, are available. Three models are available.

Ramp
The wheelchair ramp loading system is a Tor-Spring counterbalanced ramp that hinges up to stow vertically inside the rear door
Releases with a single lever
Gradient 1:4 when lowered

Restraints
Electric "Safetex" front restraints are similar to the inertia reel safety belts
The front restraints pull out and are attached to the front of the wheelchair before it enters the vehicle, locking it in place after the wheelchair has entered the vehicle
Rear wheelchair restraints are fitted to each side of the wheelchair after it enters the vehicle
Lap sash belt secures the wheelchair occupant
All loading can be carried out from a standing position at the rear of the vehicle

Freewheeler Caddy MAXI Life with Benchseat - wheelchair space plus five seats as standard. Maximum seven seats available without wheelchair. 16 inch alloy wheels are standard.

Freewheeler Caddy MAXI Life with LuggageMaster - wheelchair space plus three seats as standard or optional fourth seat is available. Maximum six seats available without wheelchair. 16 inch alloy wheels are standard.
