More Details
Front Wheel Drive vehicle
1.6 litre engine.
Rear barn doors with aluminium ramp for wheelchair rear entry. The ramp is gas assisted to raise and lower, and has slip resistant pads.
Retracting webbing belts are used to secure the front of the wheelchair in the vehicle. Hooks are located at the rear of the vehicle to prevent retracting belts from resting at the front of the van, and to allow the attendant to fit these outside the vehicle.
Rear attachment points generally use ratchet style restraints with buckles to secure it to the wheelchair.
A retractible shoulder sash seatbelt is anchored to the rear of the vehicle.
Sliding doors both sides.
Power steering (standard).
Air conditioning (standard).
Power front windows and mirrors.
Keyless remote locking on all doors.
Intermittent wipers for the windscreen and tailgate.
Dual Airbags.
Colour coded bumpers and mirrors. Choice of seven exterior colours.

Features:
The tie down points to the front of the wheelchair retract and lock automatically. This can be released by pushing a button at the rear of the vehicle. This may reduce manual handling and awkward postures for an attendant.
The window design enables the wheelchair user to have a full view through the side windows and windscreen.
A rear sliding door is on both sides of the vehicle, and these may assist an attendant to get closer to the wheelchair user if required.
A powered winch is available to assist pull and lower a manual wheelchair in and out of the vehicle. It uses a hand held, push button control to operate.
Some may prefer a smaller vehicle than bigger vans as this may assist with parking.

Options
Power loading to assist the wheelchair in and out of the vehicle using a powered winch.
A powered seat option is available to allow a wheelchair user to drive. They would need to be able to transfer from their wheelchair to the car seat in the back of the vehicle, and the driver seat is then powered to position itself in front of the driving controls.
