Short Description
A range of imported wheelchair lifts which are mounted internally and under the floor at the rear or side doors of vans and buses.
Electro-hydraulically operated with semi-automatic or fully automatic
options. Incorporates several safety design features, including a manual back-up pump.
Caution
An approved wheelchair and occupant restraint must be installed when transporting a person in the wheelchair.

L900 SERIES:
Used for rear door application on the following vehicles:
Toyota Hi-Ace, Commuter, Coaster
Mazda E Series, T3500
Ford Econovan
Mitsubishi M99
Nissan Civilian
Platform:
. Constructed of steel mesh grating.
. Adjusts to level of ground.
. Free floating hinged bridge plate.
. Safety stop (roll stop) is spring loaded and lowered by depressing a foot operated release lever at the side of the platform.
. 110mm sides to the platform.
. Dual handrails.
Operation
. Lift controls are located in a lightweight weatherproof control box and can be mounted or hand held with a cord connection.
. The platform takes 6 seconds to rise and 5 - 15 seconds to lower.
L950 SERIES
. Accommodates longer chairs or scooters (because height of automatic roll stop has been reduced).
. Steel mesh platform.
. Side or rear entry mounting in vehicle.
. Side entry to platform allows easier boarding in confined spaces.
. Platform up/down switch located on front handrail. Up/down, fold/unfold switch located in vehicle.
L800 SERIES SWING-AWAY LIFT:
. User accesses the lift parallel to the vehicle and is lifted and rotated into the vehicle. Allows easier access in confined parking spaces.
. Fits a wide range of vehicles eg VW Eurovan, Toyota Hi-Ace Commuter.
. Roll stop barriers can be reduced from 200mm to 100mm for larger wheelchairs and scooters.
. Platform is a steel plate with slip resistant surface.
. Platform expands as the wheelchair is loaded therefore suitable for a variety of wheelchair sizes and scooters.
. Loads flat in the van which leaves access free.
. Available with front or rear post mounting.
. Low ramp angle.
. Lift can be attendant (with a hand control) or user operated. Also available with a remote control.
LIFT-A-WAY D/C:
. Used for rear or side door entry
. Will fit in standard height doors of some vans eg VW Caravelle
. Dual locking handrails.
. Handrail control allows user to operate lift platform
. Optional remote control
. Yellow demarkation of the wheelchair loading boundaries
. Override circuit prevents the lift from folding when weight is on the platform.
. Automatic roll stop
Note:
Swing-Away model loads parallel to the vehicle taking up less space beside the vehicle.
