Short Description
An imported range of fully automatic vehicle hoists for lifting a person in a wheelchair in and out of a van or bus. All are installed internally
except for the Mirage which is installed under the floor of the van. They can be installed to the rear or side door depending on the layout of the van.
Caution
An approved wheelchair and occupant restraint system must be installed when transporting a person in a wheelchair.
More Details
ALL MODELS HAVE THE FOLLOWING FEATURES:
. Powered by a 65amp 12 volt DC motor with a manual back up system.
. Hydraulic pump is (except on Uni-lite model) operated electrically to raise lift, gravity flow control valve lowers the lift. Uni-lite model has a
direct gear drive.
. Forward and rear roll stops prevent the wheelchair rolling off the platform.
The rear roll stop is spring loaded and automatically lowers to form a
ramped entry / exit to the lifter platform.
. The lift has a slow folding function to allow people inside the van to clear space for the platform.
. Microsensors prevent the platform from lifting if a weight greater than
20 kg is on the platform.
. Five year warranty on all major components.
1. CLEARWAY: 1132/1231
. This lift platform is divided into two sections which fold inwards to
allow access to the vehicle when the lift is in the stored position.
This model features the following:
. Welded steel frame.
. Two hydraulic cylinders 38mm diameter.
. Platform is constructed from steel mesh grating.
. Safety arms.
. Clearaway 1231 has a narrow long platform.
. Clearaway 1132 has a short wider platform.
2. TRIMAWAY: 2007
. This has a one piece platform which folds up across the exit.
. The other features of this lift are the same as for Clearaway.
3. UNI LITE:
. Suitable for both full size and mini-vans, with either standard or
door openings.
. Lightweight aluminium alloy construction with anodised finish.
. One piece platform accommodates most wheelchairs and scooters -
660 mm, 730 mm, 810 mm.
. Useable platform length - 910 mm, 990 mm, 1010 mm, 1110 mm.
4. S2000 and S5000 FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION VEHICLES:
Extra features include:
. Handrails on both sides.
. Slow folding speed.
. Electrically interlocked occupant restraint belts.
5. MIRAGE for front wheel drive vehicles i.e. Volkswagon and buses.
Platform stows away beneath the vehicle floor, leaving the doorway clear.
. Steel and aluminium construction.
. Large slip resistant platform.
6. ECLIPSE - a compact lift for accessing the rear doors of a van. It is always used with assistance from the driver or another person.
. Platform stows away beneath the vehicle floor, leaving the doorway clear.
. It has fold down handrails and a safety belt across the front which
must be correctly positioned for the lift to operate.
