POINTS TO CONSIDER:
Suitability for your car:
. Some models are easier to install into particular makes of car than others.
. The fitter will advise you of the suitability and any modifications
which may be required and any additional costs.
Finished height of the seat:
. Some models raise the seat height by up to 10cm. This may be a factor in some low roofed vehicles.
. It may also mean that the person using the chair may have to bend their head and body forward when swivelling to avoid hitting the door frame.

METHOD OF OPERATION:
. The lever to operate the swivel is usually located at the front base of
the seat, but may be positioned according to the individual requirements.
. Ensure that the carer or user can manipulate the lever easily and lock the seat back into position.

MODE OF OPERATION:
Some models swivel the seat only, others swivel and extend the seat out past the car frame and others elevate the seat.

WARRANTY AND SERVICE:
Locally installed units will be easier to service and repair.
