Short Description
A range of steps that can be mounted to motor homes, four wheel drive vehicles, trucks and some vans. The steps automatically extend when the door is opened, and retract when the door is closed. Available with one, two or three steps. Useful for people who have difficulty stepping up onto a vehicle seat.
More Details
Operation:
. a 12 volt DC motor is enclosed in the mounting platform.
. a magnet switch is attached to the door. The opening/closing of the door triggers the action of the step.
. a switch can be attached to the dash board of the vehicle if required.
. the mechanism does not include a manual operation switch. The mechanism can be disabled by undoing the wiring. This will cause the step to retract if stuck in the extended position.
The following vans can have the one step unit fitted:
. Toyota Commuter and Coaster
. Ford Transit Bus
. Chrysler Voyager.
The two and three step models are suitable for larger vehicles.
