Short Description
The Comfort Mate and Comfort Mate Plus cushions are made from
dual firmness, high density and highly resilient moulded foam with a
neoprene coating. They are laminated onto a hardwood drop base which snaps onto the wheelchair frame. The Comfort Mate has a cooltex cover while the Comfort Mate Plus has an ultra absorbent cover for users who require extra moisture protection. Suitable for low risk to medium risk.

. Designed to provide long-term sitting comfort and promote correct posture. The softer top layer provides comfort while the firmer bottom
layer stabilizes and supports the pelvis.
. Softer top layer for comfort; firmer bottom layer stabilizes and supports the pelvis and prevents user from "bottoming out".
. Both cushions can be ordered with built in drop bases.
. The cushions are designed to provide long term sitting comfort and promote correct seating posture.
. Cushions are available in 7 standard and 12 non-standard sizes.
. When ordering specify width and depth dimensions.
. Two year limited warranty.

Comfort-Mate Cushion and Base
An anterior wedge helps prevent the user from sliding forward. The bottom lateral sides of the cushion are beveled to offset the hammocking effect of a wheelchair's slung seat. The neoprene coating seals the foam to protect against moisture.The cover is made from CoolTex which disperses moisture. The cushion is laminated onto a hardwood drop base which snaps onto the wheelchair
frame. The height of this base can be adjusted by the addition of drop hooks.
Pindot Comfort-Mate Plus Cushion
This is the same as the Comfort-Mate Cushion except that it has an ultra-absorbent washable cover for extra
moisture protection.
