Short Description
A system for converting a manual wheelchair into an attendant controlled powered wheelchair. It consists of a motor and drive wheel unit which fits under the chair. The battery sits on top of this unit and connects to a lever operated control which is mounted onto the right or left push handle.
When the unit is wheeled into position it locks in and, by switching it on, the wheel lowers itself to the ground. The wheelchair can then be moved forward or in reverse, using the motorised assist. It also has a speed control device.
