More Details
FRAME: This rear wheel drive wheelchair has a folding frame and suspension. It features the ability to stand the user up, using a gas cylinder operated or a battery operated system. It is available in a range of colours.
Gas cylinders: The user pushes two side handles downwards. The gas cylinder action counter balances the users weight so only minimal effort is required to stand
Battery operated system: standing is achieved by pressing a switch located on either armrest.
SEAT: slung fabric seat with double density memory foam cushion.
BACKREST: The back on the wheelchair folds, and has 3 angles of recline.
REAR WHEELS: are 600mm in diameter with pneumatic, high pressure or puncture-proof tyres. There are 6 rear wheel positions to enhance wheelchair stability. The chair features quick-release wheels and castors.
FRONT CASTORS: are 150mm in diameter with microcellular tyres.
ARMRESTS: Full length, padded armrests. Available in 2 lengths. The armrests swing away for transfers and rotate inwards for support when the chair is in standing.
FOOTPLATE: is one piece, height and angle adjustable. Can be detached. Constructed from stainless steel with a plastic cover.
BRAKES: are lever style push on brakes.
KNEE PADS: are padded foam style with pin release mechanism located between the left and right pads. The support pad is removable.
TIBIA SUPPORT: this support adjusts as the person stands to minimise leg pressure and friction. It locks and opens as a safety belt.
UPHOLSTERY: seat and backrest have adjustable tension and 2 pockets.

TRANSPORT: legrests, footplates, wheels and castors are removable, backrest folds down.

CUSTOMISATION
Some of the customisation is done in Australia at the Melbourne office or the chair can be fully customised at the factory in France.
