Levo Active-Easy LAE

Short Description
A range of stand-up wheelchairs that allow the user to raise him/herself to a standing position independently. The lifting mechanism may be gas-spring operated or battery operated. There are models for adults and children. The user has measurements taken by the supplier in standing, sitting and lying positions, then the chair is made to order in Switzerland.

More Details
Frame - chrome plated steel, folding frame. An extra connecting rod has been added to increase frame rigidity. Roll pins have been replaced by screws to make disassembly simpler.
Upholstery - sling type, vinyl backrest and seat.
Armrests - detachable, full length, padded armrests. Flip-up armrests are now height adjustable with a new support.
Footrests - one piece, height and angle adjustable footrest. Detachable but not swing away. Safety slip resistant rubber pads underneath the footrests stay firm even with intensive trunk movements, and make toppling very unlikely.
The trunk and the legs are secured by safety straps.
Brakes - lever style brakes.
