Short Description
Pushers and strollers are a means of transporting children in comfort, while reducing the amount of energy expended by the person pushing the stroller. The adjustability of a stroller can allow more or less support for the child and can allow for changes as the child grows.

. Points to consider when buying a pusher / stroller:
* frame, construction type, materials and colour
* stability; ability to withstand heavy bags hanging from handles
without tipping
* size and maximum weight capacity
* weight for carrying, storage
* ease of steering
* facing direction of child; toward or away from carer - reversible handle?
* support provided for head/trunk/sides
* seat width - adequate size to accommodate an insert if required
* type and ease of use of brakes
* adjustability of height of handles
* wheels and tyres; number, type, ride, maintenance
* upholstery - ease of removal, ease of cleaning
* type, adjustability (position, height, angle), strength of footrest
* straps and buckles; ability to be used one handed
* ease of folding / dismantling
* shape and convenience of compacted shape for carrying / storing
* adjustability of seat depth and back angle, reclining ability
* clarity of instructions
* available accessories eg. sunshade, tray, seat cushion, foot straps,
lap belt, H harness, accessory bag, headrest, hip abductor, height
adjustable head wings, shoulder straps.
