Short Description
A Glide 1 or Glide 3 wheelchair fitted with either a left or right sided double rim one arm drive mechanism on rear wheels for one handed propulsion. For a heavy wheelchair user the Glide 3 is recommended. May be useful for people who have the use of only one hand, though it can be difficult to learn the method of propelling the chair using the double rim.
Specify left or right hand drive.

Wheels: Pneumatic tyres.
Castors: Solid with optional pnuematic or MCP castors
Footrests: Swing away detachable. Adjustable in height with five
adjustment positions.
Armrests: Padded, aluminium. Optional desk arm available. Armrests lock in.
Brakes: Toggle brakes. Pull back to engage.

Method of use:
To turn right, push the rim on the right side of the two rims.
To turn left,push the rim on the left side of the two rims.
To move straight ahead, hold both rims in the one hand and push them both forwards.
