Short Description
A folding self propelling wheelchair made from lightweight, rustproof aluminium finished in high gloss epoxy paint. It has a double cross member, lift-up armrests, swingaway detachable legrests, quick release axles, plastic footplates, microcellular castors and nylon padded upholstery (which according to the manufacturer is fire retardant). Available in three seat widths: 410mm, 460mm and 510mm. It will carry a person weighing up to 120kg.

More Details
Frame
Aluminium tubing, double cross bars, moulded "arthritic" style push handles. Available in four colours: Lake Charles Green, Gloss Black, Dark Violet Gloss, Red Gloss.

Upholstery
Synthetic woven fabric. Supplier states it is flame resistant and water repellent. Available black (tartan no longer available from July 2007).

Seat
Slung padded seat with 50mm thick foam cushion attached with hook and loop tape.

Back
Padded backrest with 25mm thick foam. Pocket behind the backrest

Armrests
Lift-up armrest. For transfers, the arm rest is raised by pressing lever near front attachment point. The armrests stay attached to the frame at the rear.

Legrests
Swingaway, removable legrests with lift-up height adjustable footplates with heel loops.

Wheels
Pneumatic tyres, Mag (Mambo) wheels, quick release axles (pop-off wheels). Aluminium wheel rims.

Castors
Microcellular

Brakes
Standard 10cm lever positioned 5cm forward of the rear wheel.
